Pilz Safety relay
The Pilz safety relay PNOZ s4.1 (750124) is a high-performance safety relay from the PNOZsigma series. It is designed for monitoring E-stop buttons, safety gates, and light curtains. Its hallmark is its slim design and high degree of flexibility through its front-facing rotary switch.

Primary Input/Output Terminals
- A1, A2: Power supply 24VDC & 220VAC
- S11, S12: Input circuit Channel 1.
- S21, S22: Input circuit Channel 2.
- S34: Reset/Start button input.
- 13-14, 23-24, 33-34: The three N/O safety contacts that cut power to the machine when the safety circuit is broken.
- 41-42: The N/C auxiliary contact used for feedback to a PLC (not for safety).
Common Wiring Configuration (Dual Channel)
- Input 1: Wire the E-Stop contact 1 between S11 and S12.
- Input 2: Wire the E-Stop contact 2 between S21 and S22.
- Start: Wire a momentary N/O push button between S11 and S34.
- Feedback Loop: If monitoring external contactors (EDM), wire their N/C auxiliary contacts in series with the Start button.
