Infrared Edge Sensor Camera FR-5503 Erhardt+Leimer
The Erhardt+Leimer FR-5503 is a high-precision digital infrared edge sensor designed primarily for the textile industry. While often referred to in the field as an “eye” or “camera” because of its scanning capability, it is technically an infrared reflection-based edge sensor.
It is most commonly used in tenter frames (stenters) and dyeing machinery to ensure that fabric webs are perfectly aligned before they are pinned or clipped to the transport chain.
